The brief: This client had worked hard to develop an external-facing asset that promoted brand awareness in general and user interests in specific. Unfortunately, the design and overall look of the site did not render that experience to its visitors.
The solution: The client and ITTB agreed on a complete overhaul, including a refreshed look & feel. After clarifying the business requirements, the ITTB team generated a unique design that made the featured articles more appealing and more easily shared on social media. The online marketing and web analytics business unit, Omniture was used for analytics and tracking. Use of this data enabled ITTB to develop a ‘trending articles’ item on the homepage, making visitor ‘top choices’ more visible to others. This entire redesign increased homepage visits by more than 400% in the 3 months after the launch.
